Whether it is a tribute to a loved one or a moment you want to preserve forever, I do not start with a rigid plan. I start with our conversation, letting the emotion guide the brushwork. ### My Approach to Portraiture I believe a portrait should breathe. When you commission a painting, we are not just exchanging a photo for a canvas. We are entering into a dialogue where I translate your memories, fears, and hopes into textured, heavy-body acrylics. ### The Creative Process My process is intuitive. I prefer to work from a place of feeling rather than just visual copying. After our initial alignment call, I build layers of texture on the canvas—this is where the history and character of the subject emerge. I focus heavily on the eyes and the play of light on skin, as these elements carry the soul of the subject. ### What You Will Receive Each canvas is gallery-wrapped on triple-primed cotton and pine wood. When I finish a piece, I provide: * **A Signed Certificate of Authenticity:** Proof of the original work. * **A Handwritten Story Card:** A note detailing the emotional intent behind the portrait. * **Protective Varnish:** A double coat of high-quality varnish to ensure the painting remains protected from dust and UV light for years. Whether you are looking for a monochrome study that captures the raw resilience of a person or a vibrant piece that celebrates their inner light, I am here to help you turn those moments into timeless heirlooms. ## About Sneha Chakraborty I am Sneha.
