Our retrofitting process means we can upgrade your existing switchboards in just 15 minutes per board with no rewiring. It is less about installing tech and more about replacing those dated plastic switches with modern, glass touch panels that actually complement your interior design. Designing your smart home is all about finding the right balance between convenience and aesthetics. You want the power of voice commands and app control, but you also want a space that looks like a home, not a server room. ### Think Beyond the Gadgets Smart home design often gets bogged down by myths. You don't need massive rewiring or a huge budget to start. We specialize in retrofitting, meaning your existing electrical setup stays intact while we add smart modules behind the board. ### The Aesthetics of Control Your switches are the most touched part of your home, yet they are often neglected in interior design. We replace standard plastic toggles with tempered glass touch panels. These are available in sleek black or white finishes, featuring backlit indicators that make them easy to find at night. They act as a subtle design statement that fits right into modern homes. ### Design for Your Needs When planning, consider how you actually live: * **Motion Sensors:** Use PIR sensors for high-traffic areas like corridors, and microwave sensors for larger rooms where you need broader detection. * **Mood Lighting:** Don't just pick 'bright.' Think about lighting scenes. We help you set up 'movie night' (dimmed, warm), 'party' (color-sync), and 'good night' (all off) modes. * **Voice vs. Touch:** While voice control is great, we believe in giving you options. Our setups include app control, manual touch, and physical switch retention, so you are never locked into one method. Whether you are an interior designer working on a luxury project or a homeowner looking to simplify your life, the key is planning for the experience first and the technology second. We help you bridge that gap. ## About LazyNest We started LazyNest because we were tired of tangled wires and homes that didn't listen. Now, we handle the tech so you can just chill.
