We use invisible retrofit modules that fit right behind your existing switchboards, meaning you keep your current décor while getting full voice and app control over your lights, fans, and AC. At LazyNest, we believe smart tech should feel invisible, not intrusive. When we say 'retrofit,' we mean we work with the home you already have. No drilling, no messy civil work, and no re-wiring your entire house. Here is a quick look at the tech that makes it happen: **The Remote Situation** Most of your devices use either IR (infrared) or RF (radio frequency) signals. Our Laze Red universal remote hub acts as a bridge, letting you control your TV, AC, and set-top box from a single app. IR is for direct line-of-sight devices, while RF is the one that lets you control things through walls. We make them play nice together in one app. **Sensors: Your Home’s Eyes** We use two main types of sensors to automate your lights: - **PIR Sensors (Passive Infrared):** These detect heat signatures. Think of them as the 'ninjas'—they’re perfect for smaller spaces like bathrooms or corridors where you want lights to pop on the moment you enter. - **Microwave Sensors:** These use echoes to detect movement, making them better for larger areas where coverage matters more than pinpoint heat detection. **The Core Logic** Everything is connected via our intelligent hubs. Whether it's setting a 'Movie Mode' that dims the lights and closes the curtains or a 'Good Night' routine that shuts down everything, the tech works in the background. You just give the command, or let the scene run automatically, and your home responds. We’ve installed over 10,000 devices using these methods, ensuring every setup is rock solid and supports your lifestyle without the extra effort. ## About LazyNest We’re LazyNest, and we’re here to prove that smart tech doesn't have to be a headache.
