We spend dedicated time on weight transfer, posture, and body isolation—the specific technical secrets that make your movement look fluid rather than robotic. If you have been doing your basic steps for a while but feel 'stuck', this is exactly where we unlock that next level of confidence. ### Why Following Needs Its Own Focus In social salsa, followers are often taught to 'wait' for the lead. I believe that is the wrong approach. Following is an active conversation, not a passive reaction. My course is designed to shift your mindset from simply executing moves to actively interpreting the music and expressing your own flavor. ### What We Cover in Class This isn't just about learning new turns. We get into the gritty, technical details that most group classes skip: * **Body Conditioning:** Strengthening your core and legs to handle spins and complex turns without losing balance. * **Body Movement & Isolation:** Learning how to move your chest, hips, and shoulders independently to add that signature salsa flow. * **Musicality:** Training your ears to hear the breaks and accents in the music, so your styling happens naturally, not because you memorized a sequence. * **Advanced Partnerwork:** Refining your frame and connection so you can respond to complex leads without anticipating or backleading. ### Who Is This For? This course is for improvers and above. You don't need to be a professional, but you should be comfortable with your basic step and have a grasp of rhythm. My goal is to help you feel confident enough to shine on the dance floor, whether you are social dancing or preparing for a performance.
