Whether you sign up for our weekday intensive batches or weekend sessions, our temperature-controlled water and Glass Filter Media filtration mean you focus on your swimming without the common issues of harsh chemical irritation or shivering. Our programs are built on a simple philosophy: provide a comfortable, safe environment where anyone can learn a life skill. We operate out of Pendleton Park in Hennur with a semi-Olympic size, temperature-controlled pool maintained between 27°C and 29°C. This consistency is crucial for both young children, who are more sensitive to cold, and adults training early in the morning. ### Our Training Approach We follow STA (UK) guidelines for our curriculum, starting from water acclimatization for beginners and moving toward advanced freestyle and backstroke. For toddlers and parents, we maintain a separate, shallow pool to build water confidence through bubbling and floating exercises without the pressure of the deep end. ### Safety and Hygiene We prioritize water quality by using Spanish-imported Glass Filter Media technology, which effectively reduces eye and skin irritation compared to standard chlorine-heavy treatments. For parents, this means fewer concerns about post-swim dryness or skin reactions for your children. All sessions are monitored by certified lifeguards, and the premises include CCTV, changing rooms, and showers. ## About LAPS Swimming Academy We are LAPS Swimming Academy, and we believe swimming is a critical life skill for everyone, from toddlers to working adults. We combine international coaching standards with a temperature-controlled pool at our Hennur location to make sure your learning environment is always safe and comfortable.
