Since I hand-sculpt everything to make it look realistic, I need at least 4 to 5 days to get the fondant colors and textures just right for your event. Making a Paithani saree cake is not just about the baking, it is about the art. I use a semi-fondant technique to get that perfect, smooth drape that looks like real fabric. The border is hand-painted to match the intricate patterns you would find on an authentic Paithani, complete with that signature gold shimmer. Here is how I make it happen: * **Edible Hand-Crafting:** I personally mold the jewelry, nose ring, and jasmine gajra so every piece looks unique and realistic. * **Custom Colors:** Whether you want a classic red, deep green, or peacock blue saree, I match the edible colors to your specific theme or your own wedding outfit. * **Eggless Guarantee:** Like all my work, these are 100% egg-free and baked fresh to order here in Navi Mumbai. * **Perfect for Occasions:** These are a massive hit for weddings, engagement ceremonies, or any celebration where you want to show off Maharashtrian roots. Because of the detailed work involved, I treat these as a premium design project. It is not just a cake, it is a centerpiece for your table, so give me enough time to prep the details and I will make sure it is perfect for your big day. ## About La Pastel I am a home baker in Navi Mumbai who is obsessed with turning traditional elements like the Paithani saree into edible art.
