Hearing them talk about being nervous but playing well captures the journey of turning fear into confidence that I guide them through.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/0b0bdb0a-e438-4a71-8031-44facd37f704) ## About Hear From Our Athletes It is one thing to learn the technique, but it is another to stand in front of a target when it counts. Many of our students start by saying, "aaj mera pehla match tha, dar lag raha tha" (it was my first match, I was scared), but they quickly learn that competition is where the real growth happens. By training in our AC facilities using professional Megalink targets, our shooters—from children in summer camps to elite competitors—learn to replace that initial fear with the calculated focus required to perform under pressure. The transition from being nervous to being match-ready is the most significant part of our program. We do not just teach you how to hold a rifle or pistol; we teach you how to quiet your mind. Whether you are training at our Panvel, Vashi, or Vasai centers, you will find that the community here is a family. We incorporate yoga, mindfulness, and sports psychology because a calm mind is the most important piece of equipment you own. For those preparing for state or national competitions, we use advanced tools like SCATT analysis to track your aim path, ensuring that you do not just practice more, but you practice better. We believe that discipline is needed everywhere, which is why our athletes learn to respect both the rifle and the soil we stand on. Our training is inclusive, welcoming everyone from curious kids to para-athletes. When you hear our students talk about their experiences, you are hearing about more than just a sport; you are hearing about character building, resilience, and the quiet satisfaction of hitting the bullseye when the pressure is on. ## About Lakshya Shooting Club I see shooting as a path to building character, not just collecting medals. Whether you are a child stepping onto the range for the first time or an athlete aiming for the national stage, my team and I are here to guide you through every shot.
