## About Competitive Shooting Training

### Building Champions, Inside and Out

At Lakshya Shooting Club, we see shooting as more than sport - it’s about shaping character, discipline, and confidence. Our competitive training is for anyone who wants to push themselves, not just hit targets. Honestly, it’s tough sometimes, but the satisfaction is real when you see progress, not just in scores but in how you carry yourself.

### Training That Pushes Limits

Our program is full-on and designed for those aiming for district, state, national, and even international medals. You’ll get a clear path, steady support, and all the tools to move up the ranks. We run high-performance shooting camps, and you’ll find the mental conditioning for shooters is as intense as the physical drills.

- Regular meditation and holding practice sessions help with stability and focus
- We coach across Olympic shooting disciplines: 10m Air Rifle, 10m Air Pistol, and 50m Rifle (all three positions)
- You’ll train with electronic targets for instant feedback - no guesswork

### Real Stories, Real Progress

Lots of folks start out nervous, saying things like "aaj mera pehla match tha, dar lag raha tha" (first match jitters hit hard). We know that feeling. Our approach is about steady improvement, with plenty of exposure to competitions and prep camps before big events.

### Everyone’s Welcome

We’re proud of our inclusive vibe. Para-shooting and training for athletes with special needs isn’t just an add-on here - it’s part of who we are. Some of our athletes have gone on to win at the Paralympics and national para events.

### Led by Experience

Our team is led by Olympian Suma Shirur and experienced mentors. We’re not just coaches - we’re in it with you, every step. #LakshyaProud

## Meet your expert

[Lakshya Shooting Club](https://mytribe.in/lakshyashooting)

### My story

Lakshya Shooting Club isn’t just a place, it’s a parivaar (family). Our roots are deep, with mentors like Suma Shirur Ma’am and Prof. Sunny Thomas inspiring us every single day. We don’t just teach shooting, we build champions who know how to handle pressure, bounce back from tough days, and respect both rifle and mitti (soil). Every Independence Day, you’ll find us in Matheran cleaning up, because discipline toh har jagah chahiye (discipline is needed everywhere).

### My work

- **Shooting Training for All**: We coach 10m Air Rifle, 10m Air Pistol, and 50m Rifle. From kids’ summer camps to high performance shooting camp, we cover it all.
- **Inclusive Coaching**: Everyone’s welcome – kids, national hopefuls, shooting for para-athletes, and those just curious about the sport.
- **Mind and Body Focus**: Not just shooting – we add psychology, yoga, and mindfulness in sports training for real champions.
- **Best-in-Class Facilities**: Our Panvel, Vasai, and Vashi ranges have AC, Megalink targets, and our Navi Mumbai centre is top class.
- **Champions’ Track Record**: Our shooters win at Khelo India, Asian Champs, ISSF World Cups. Train with us, train with winners.
