The secret is in the prep: I carry sanitized wraps, baskets, and portable lighting specifically calibrated for indoor spaces. When I arrive, I spend an hour setting up a controlled environment, ensuring the baby is safe, warm, and relaxed before we even pick up the camera. ### Why My Mobile Studio Setup Matters Newborn photography requires more than just a camera; it demands a strictly controlled environment. When I do at-home sessions, I am essentially transporting a full-fledged studio setup into your living room. This includes portable backdrops, softbox lighting, and a curated selection of fabrics and props—all sanitized and ready to go. ### The Engineering Approach to Comfort My background as an engineer isn't just about technical gear. It is about precision and logistics. I plan the lighting configuration based on the size of your room, ensuring we get consistent, high-quality images without needing a large studio space. For you, this means zero travel stress with a newborn. ### What to Expect During a Home Session The shoot typically lasts 3 to 4 hours. This includes an hour for setup and dismantling, but more importantly, it gives us the buffer time needed for feeding, soothing, and diaper changes. Babies are not on a clock, and this 'engineering' workflow respects that. I handle the setup and the cleanup so you can focus entirely on the little one.
