Before any menu lands on your table, the team spends weeks in our Vasant Vihar space refining ingredients, from sourcing local spices to experimenting with sous-vide techniques. When you walk in, you are not just meeting staff, you are meeting the people who built the flavor profiles you are about to experience. Our journey started with a simple idea: create a modern den in New Delhi where hospitality meets curiosity. We wanted to build more than just a bar, so we focused on the team first. Every individual behind the counter at Lair is part of the Cocktail Coalition, contributing to a culture of shared learning and collective growth. This approach has led us to some milestones, including being ranked among the top 30 bars in India and receiving recognition from the 50 Best Discoveries list. These accolades matter to us because they validate the hard work of our crew, from the mixologists who track down rare botanicals in Old Delhi to the floor staff who ensure every guest feels like a regular. We believe that a great cocktail is only the beginning. The real magic happens in the connection between the person behind the bar and the guest. Whether we are hosting a masterclass, collaborating with global icons, or simply serving our signature small plates, our focus remains the same: real people, honest ingredients, and a welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors. ## About Lair We built Lair as a space where black and grey blend, but the hospitality is anything but cold. Our team is the heart of every drink we pour, from those who source rare local spices to those who greet you at the bar. We are here to make you feel at home, even when we are shaking up global classics.
