You aren't just learning from local pros here; you are training under the exact methodology that produces ATP-ranked players in France. While our head coaches manage the daily, high-volume grind, our visiting French consultants arrive annually to rigorously overhaul your mechanics, tactical decision-making, and court positioning using the PlaySight system. ### The Coaching Philosophy The coaching team at The French Touch Academy is built on a hybrid model. We believe that to compete on a global level, players need exposure to both the demands of the Indian circuit and the strategic sophistication of the European tour. ### Local Leadership & Daily Grind Our on-court training is led by Head Coach Himanshu Mali, an AITA and ITF-ranked professional who understands the specific hurdles of Indian junior tennis. The daily sessions are about volume and repetition. Whether it is basket drills, live rallies, or match play, the local staff is there to enforce the intensity required for real improvement. Strength and conditioning expert Jilani A. Shaikh works alongside them, managing the physical load to ensure that our 6-hour daily training volume produces strength rather than injury. ### The French Connection We don't just use a name; we import the expertise. Coaches like Charles Auffray, Yannick Jankovitz, and Julien Varlet—all former ATP-level professionals—bring direct experience from the tour. They don't just observe; they work on the court with our players during their annual visits, breaking down technical faults and teaching the mental toughness that separates good players from elite competitors. ### Why This Matters Tennis is as much about tactical IQ as it is about physical ability. Our coaching team focuses on: - **Technical Precision:** Fixing mechanics through video analysis. - **Tactical Awareness:** Learning how to play percentage tennis under pressure. - **Mental Resilience:** Building the mindset needed for long matches and tournament travel. Whether you are preparing for a US college scholarship or climbing the AITA rankings, you need coaches who have lived the professional life. That is the standard we hold every single day. ## About The French Touch Academy We brought the French Touch Academy from Cap d'Agde to Mumbai to change the game. We are a family of Indian pros and French ATP-level consultants working together on the court every single day. If you are ready for the grind, we are here to push you.
