Whether you want a light-up aquarium effect, rice paper sails, or hand-sculpted mermaids, I treat every design like a unique story. Because these cakes often involve delicate sugar work and structural planning, I recommend we chat at least a few weeks early so I can get the details just right for your celebration. ### How We Design Your Ocean Cake When you come to me with an 'Under the Sea' theme, I don't just put a mermaid on a cake. We look at the vibe you want—are we going for a bright, cartoon-style aquatic scene, or something elegant with pearls and buttercream waves? **What goes into the design:** * **Sugar Art:** I hand-sculpt each figurine, from the mermaid tail and starfish to dolphins and crabs. * **Texture:** I use Swiss Meringue or American Buttercream to create water effects, whether you want a smooth, sharp finish or a ruffled wave pattern. * **The 'Wow' Factor:** Many of my ocean cakes feature 'extras' like battery-operated fairy lights to create a glow, or translucent rice paper sails that look like flowing water. ### Practical Details for Your Order * **Flavor:** All my standard flavors are available for these themes, including crowd-pleasers like chocolate salted caramel or butterscotch praline. If you need something specific, just ask. * **Dietary Needs:** I offer full eggless options for all my custom cakes, so nobody misses out on the fun. * **Pickup & Delivery:** I work from my kitchen in Chembur, Mumbai. You are welcome to pick up your order, or I can arrange for delivery across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area. Planning a party can be stressful, but the cake part should be the fun bit. Drop me a message, tell me your theme, and let's figure out the perfect design for your little one. ## About Lady Bakealot Hey, I'm Vanessa, aka Lady Bakealot.
