It is common to find tiny color touch-ups or slight irregularities in these sarees. This is the natural result of the manual process, not a sign of damage. Understanding this helps you appreciate the true, one-of-a-kind nature of your purchase. ### The beauty of the handmade When we talk about hand-painted or block-printed fabrics like Kalamkari or Nellore silks, we are talking about human labor. Unlike machine prints that are uniform, hand-crafted sarees involve artists working directly on the fabric. ### What are these 'marks'? Sometimes you might see a small color smudge or a slight variation in the dye pattern. This is actually proof that your saree was crafted by hand, not mass-produced by a machine. My weavers and artists work incredibly hard, but nature and manual skill always leave a little signature behind. ### Why it matters I want you to love your saree for what it is. A tiny mark here or there does not mean the saree is dirty or damaged; it means it is authentic. If you are used to factory-perfect prints, this can be a shift in perspective.
