## About Meet Our Artists & Faculty

You aren't just learning from textbook instructors here. Our faculty are active performers—gigging musicians, composers, and researchers who bring real stage experience to every lesson. Whether you are working on a Hindustani composition or a jazz scale, your mentor is someone who has navigated that exact path in the industry, offering insights that go beyond standard sheet music.

At Lilanoor, we believe the best mentors are those who are still out there creating. Our faculty members aren't just here to teach; they are working professionals performing at venues across India and abroad. When you step into our studio in South Extension II, you are connecting with people who have lived what they teach.

### The Lilanoor Approach
Our teachers come from diverse backgrounds—from classical Hindustani training in the Indore Gharana to contemporary music production and audio engineering. This mix allows us to provide a unique learning environment where technique meets artistic expression. We prioritize mentorship over rigid curriculum, ensuring you get advice tailored to your personal goals, whether that’s mastering a complex Kathak footwork sequence or producing your first single in a DAW.

### Why Learn With Us?
* **Industry Insight:** Learn from musicians who have been featured in major productions, from Coke Studio to independent film soundtracks. They understand the demands of a live performance and the nuances of the creative process.
* **Cross-Cultural Wisdom:** Our faculty bridges the gap between Eastern and Western traditions. We explore the connections between Raag Yaman and Western harmony, giving you a wider perspective on music theory.
* **Pedagogy Meets Practice:** Many of our instructors hold advanced degrees in Performance Studies and have years of experience teaching both adults and children. They know how to break down complex concepts into manageable, fun lessons.
* **A Space for Everyone:** Whether you are an absolute beginner looking for a group circle or a professional musician refining your craft, our instructors are here to guide you without the pressure of a traditional, stiff music school.
