We cap our sessions at 12 participants, ensuring everyone has enough room to move freely without bumping into neighbors, while getting personal attention during somatic exercises. At Lilanoor, we see dance as an extension of one’s natural movement rather than a rigid set of rules. Our workshops integrate contemporary dance with somatic practices like Feldenkrais, Yoga, and Kalaripayattu to build body awareness and physical strength. Whether you are a beginner looking to find your rhythm or a seasoned mover, our curriculum encourages individual exploration and playful engagement with your own vocabulary of motion. Located in South Extension II, our studio is built as a black box with neutral white brick walls and a cleared floor, providing a professional yet intimate environment. We use blackout curtains to block daylight, keeping the focus entirely on your movement practice. The acoustic treatment of the room ensures that whether we are working to a playlist or silence, the audio quality remains sharp. We prioritize a safe space for expression. You will not find competitive hierarchies here. We explore movement through themes and metaphors, making it accessible for everyone aged 18 and up. Bring a yoga mat, a water bottle, and comfortable clothes. We are open to drop-ins if slots are available, but please check the schedule in advance to confirm your spot in the batch. ## About Lilanoor We are a French-Indian collective that believes art belongs to everyone. Our space in South Delhi is less of a studio and more of an adda where artists, teachers, and students come to create, learn, and simply exist.
