Our performance relies on a simple, effective setup—vocals, cello, and the rare Nyckelharpa—alongside our signature illustrated globe, ensuring we can fit into almost any space without needing complex lighting rigs or massive technical requirements. Our show is more than a concert; it is a musical bridge between cultures. We draw on a tapestry of lullabies from Sri Lanka, Venezuela, Russia, and beyond to help children explore complex, beautiful themes like adoption and what it truly means to belong. By using the Nyckelharpa, a traditional Swedish keyed fiddle, alongside the cello, we introduce young ears to unique, resonant soundscapes they might not encounter elsewhere. The performance is interactive, inviting children to follow our visual storytelling aids as we traverse the globe. We frequently pair these performances with educational outreach programs. Our team has worked extensively with school groups to help students create their own songs inspired by the themes of the show. If you are looking to integrate this into a curriculum or a festive community event, we are happy to discuss how we can adapt the performance or workshop components to suit your specific group size and age range. ## About Lilanoor We are Lilanoor, a French-Indian collective that believes in blending cultures through art. For Pajarillo Verde, we wanted to create a show that feels like a shared, gentle hug for young hearts, using music as a way to talk about big themes like adoption and family.
