I create a theme that tells a story, like that recent panda jungle setup where I paired real bamboo stalks with clothing and toys. You tell me the sentiment—whether it is a quiet, dreamy nursery theme or something playful and wild—and I source the specific foliage and textures to match your vision. ### Beyond the standard hamper Most baby announcements lean on standard blue or pink themes. My approach is different. I treat every hamper as a blank canvas where I weave together your personal story with the artistry of floral couture. Whether it involves incorporating heirloom-quality toys, baby essentials, or specific fruits and foliage, my goal is to create a visual memory that stays with you long after the blooms have faded. ### The creative process Everything starts with your narrative. For one client, we wanted a 'Panda Jungle' vibe, so I moved away from traditional floral foam and incorporated organic bamboo structures with plush toys and woodland elements. For another, we opted for a soft, dreamy aesthetic using Dutch roses, hydrangeas, and irises to cradle a teddy bear and baby doll. My technical approach involves: * **Texture pairing:** I mix soft, velvety petals with hardy foliage to create depth. * **Longevity:** Since these are often gifts for new parents, I use hidden water tubes and precise hydration treatments to ensure the flowers remain vibrant for days. * **Personal touches:** I work with the items you want to include, styling them so they sit securely amidst the floral architecture. If you have a concept in mind—or just a feeling you want to convey—let's collaborate to bring it to life. I operate primarily across Delhi and Gurgaon, creating these custom floral narratives for everything from pregnancy reveals to naming ceremonies. ## About Kusum Flowers Hi, I'm Kusum. After training at the Covent Garden Academy of Flowers, I brought a bit of London’s floral precision back to Delhi to mix with our wild, beautiful Indian blooms. I believe that announcing a baby’s arrival should be just as unique as the little life you're celebrating.
