Every piece we build starts with sustainably sourced solid teak, chosen for its strength and the way it ages. Unlike mass-produced furniture that relies on plywood or veneer, we focus on joinery that stands the test of time. Whether you are looking at our 'Penthes' shoe rack or the 'Lobo' TV console, you will notice the difference in weight, texture, and finish. We design these pieces to be functional centerpieces. For our shoe cabinets, we use sliding or hinged rattan shutters because they keep the contents hidden while preventing the musty odors often associated with closed storage. For our TV units and bookshelves, we focus on structural integrity, ensuring they hold heavy electronics or collections without sagging. Since we are based in Indiranagar, we understand the specific needs of Bangalore homes. We can adjust dimensions for your hallway or living room, ensuring the piece fits perfectly. We do not rush the build; each curve is sanded by hand and each joint is traditional mortise and tenon. When you choose a custom storage piece with us, you are getting furniture that is built to remain in your family for years, rather than pieces that wobble after a season. ## About Kursi Studio We are Kursi Studio, and we believe furniture is where stories begin. We handcraft every piece in our Indiranagar studio to ensure it feels warm and personal, avoiding the cold, factory-made feel of standard showroom furniture.
