We use high-resilience foam and kiln-dried teak, ensuring your chair stays firm and comfortable for years. The hand-woven rattan or rope details are not just for looks, they provide a natural, breathable surface that actually gains character as you spend time in it. ### Why Choose Teak and Rattan We choose materials with real character. Teak is a legacy wood, it does not wobble or warp if treated well, and it develops a rich patina as it ages. Our lounge chairs, like the 'Orca' or the 'Toshi' rocking chair, rely on traditional mortise and tenon joinery. We avoid quick-fix screws, which is why our pieces feel solid and stable rather than temporary. ### Designing for Comfort An easy chair should invite you to linger. That is why we focus on ergonomic design, whether it is the reclined frame of the 'Orca' or the plush bouclé cushion on the 'Lurik' lounge chair. We design with intent. If you have a specific space in your home, like a reading nook or a balcony, we can help you choose the right dimensions and finish. ### Customization and Delivery Because we build everything in our Indiranagar studio, we offer customization on wood stains and fabric choices to match your interior. Want something unique? If you have a rough sketch or a vision, tell us. We can craft bespoke seating that fits your taste perfectly. We include doorstep delivery within Bangalore, ensuring your piece arrives safely and ready to use. ## About Kursi Studio At Kursi Studio, we are obsessed with the feel of wood under our hands. We aren't a factory, we are a small team in Indiranagar turning raw teak, cane, and rope into pieces that make a house feel like a home. Every curve you see is a choice we made.
