Because we use traditional mortise and tenon joinery instead of external screws, each piece maintains its structural integrity through years of daily use. If you see slight variations in the wood grain, that is the natural signature of solid teak, not a defect. We build these to be permanent fixtures in your home, designed to withstand Bangalore's climate without warping or wobbling. ### Our Design Philosophy At Kursi Studio, we believe furniture should be more than just functional. We focus on the 'artful fusion of strength and beauty,' creating pieces that serve as the soul of a room. Whether it is the bold geometry of a teak chair or the gentle curve of a rattan backrest, every detail is intentional. ### Why Choose Our Pieces * **Authentic Materials:** We exclusively use premium, sustainably sourced teak, rattan, and bamboo. These materials offer longevity and a warmth that synthetic alternatives cannot match. * **Handcrafted Integrity:** We avoid mass production. Each curve, weave, and joint is shaped by hand. This level of craftsmanship ensures that no two pieces are identical, giving you something truly unique. * **Modern Comfort, Classic Artistry:** We design for the modern Indian home. Our pieces mix classic artisan techniques with contemporary silhouettes, ensuring they fit seamlessly into your living space. ### The Custom Experience If you have a specific vision, we can bring it to life. We work closely with you to transform rough sketches or Pinterest ideas into finished, custom-made furniture. From selecting the right wood stain to choosing the perfect fabric, we guide you through the process to ensure the final result is exactly what you need. Our studio in Indiranagar is always open if you would like to see the materials and craftsmanship firsthand. ## About Kursi Studio We are Kursi Studio, based in Indiranagar, and we believe furniture should tell a story.
