Whether you are leaning towards a low-profile live-edge bed or our signature 'Koshi' side tables with rattan shutters, we prioritize joinery that stands the test of time. Since we work with solid teak and natural cane, every piece carries a unique grain pattern and texture that factory-made furniture simply cannot replicate. ### The Art of a Quiet Bedroom Your bedroom should be the calmest place in your home. We build furniture that aids this, using natural, breathing materials like solid teak and hand-woven rattan. These materials don't just look good; they have a tactile quality that brings a sense of groundedness to your space. ### Customization & Craft We don't believe in one-size-fits-all. If you have a specific vision—maybe it is a four-poster frame, a bed with an extended headboard that doubles as a nightstand, or a specific storage solution like our 'Cuo' side tables—we start with your needs. We typically build with: - **Solid Teak:** Kiln-dried to prevent warping and ensure longevity. - **Hand-woven Rattan/Cane:** For texture and ventilation. - **Ergonomic Design:** Rounded edges and high-resilience foam to ensure comfort meets form. ### Why Handcrafted Matters Because we work by hand in our Indiranagar studio, we can pay attention to the details that matter: the way a drawer closes, the depth of the wood grain, or the tension in the rattan weave. While this means our process takes time, it ensures you get a piece that won't wobble in a year and will actually age beautifully with your home. If you want furniture that feels like it has a story, rather than something pulled from a catalog, we are here to build it with you. ## About Kursi Studio We are a small team in Indiranagar obsessed with the feel of teak and rattan. We believe the bedroom is the soul of your home, and we love building pieces that help you rest better. If you are looking for something that moves away from factory-made coldness, we would love to help you design it.
