For me, these first birthday sessions aren’t just about the cake - it’s about capturing your kid’s real, goofy, messy moments and those “aww” smiles you’ll want to remember even when they’re taller than you. ### How I Plan the Session - We start off with simple, clean portraits. Think 'ONE' signs, balloons, and all those cute props. - Once your baby is comfortable, it’s time for the cake smash. I pick a cake that fits our theme. This part’s always unpredictable - some babies dive in, some poke at it, but either way, I keep snapping those honest reactions. ### Location Choices - My studio in Gurgaon has controlled lighting and all the props you can imagine, so the photos turn out polished and vibrant. - If you want something more chilled-out, we can do the shoot outdoors in a Delhi-NCR park. I bring stuff like teepees or blankets to set the mood. ### Themes & Outfits - I handle all the styling - you just show up with your baby. - We choose a theme together. Boho, classic blue, jungle, sunflowers, whatever vibe you like. - Outfits are included, whether it’s suspenders, tutus, or rompers. ### My Style I keep things professional but never stiff. It’s all about mixing posed shots with candid moments. You’ll get a gallery full of baby milestone portraits that actually feel like your family. ## Highlights Browse through Kunal Alag's best work. ### [Featured](https://mytribe.in/kunalalagphotography/cake-smash-first-birthday/featured) - ![A candid shot from a boho-themed cake smash, capturing the pure joy and laughter as this little one enjoys his first birthday cake.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/c1c39c97-e261-43cb-891c-39eb6f543356) - ![This is a full view of one of my boho-themed studio setups, complete with a teepee and 'ONE' sign, perfect for classic first birthday portraits before the cake comes out.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/2b9a0bd8-5db2-4677-bf03-822406a8b964) - ![A happy moment from a butterfly-themed cake smash, showing a baby girl with a delightful, frosting-covered smile.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/1ee40246-fb49-4e29-b2f2-d322984f890b) - ![A dapper pre-birthday portrait in my studio, using classic props like 'ONE' blocks to create a timeless memory of this milestone.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/fb8e040c-df79-42f8-847c-b64e5b62f50f) - ![An example of an outdoor cake smash session in a Delhi-NCR park, using a beautiful floral and teepee setup for a fresh, natural feel.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/afea2c68-8317-41f8-b585-2f3e1326d59c) - ![A bright and cheerful portrait from a sunflower-themed session, showcasing the vibrant backdrops and adorable outfits I provide.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/05277051-2e7e-4442-bf6a-b2ac1ce2aaf6) - [Video: A quick behind-the-scenes look at how I set up a session and work with your baby to capture those perfect shots, from posed portraits to the fun of the cake smash.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/48b7bd03-6821-4337-b322-d7da1c247845) - ![The 'Splash & Play' tub time session is a fun add-on, capturing pure, bubbly joy as your baby splashes around after the cake smash.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/67d621b3-7a9c-43a0-8b16-d619d0c74992) ### [The Main Event: Cake Smashes](https://mytribe.in/kunalalagphotography/cake-smash-first-birthday/the-main-event-cake-smashes) - ![Capturing a moment of pure delight during a cake smash, with a happy, frosting-covered smile that says it all.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/b7886d91-c2de-4d28-b1d5-86759602485e) - ![A playful moment from a boy's cake smash session, showing off his frosting-covered hands against a stylish boho backdrop.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/156ca0f7-c7db-4380-afcf-d10882eeb54f) - ![The moment of surprise and excitement is what makes a cake smash so special. Gurgaon is home, but I’m always zipping around Delhi-NCR with my camera. I chase those big family moments - pregnancy, tiny newborn yawns, birthday cake messes, and the wildness of family life. I trained at a top studio because I want you to feel comfy, safe, and get photos you’ll actually want to hang up. I’m not just clicking pics, I’m bottling up memories before they vanish. ### My work - **Milestone Photography Sessions**: I shoot maternity, newborns, sitter sessions, first birthday cake smashes, and full family portraits. - **Serving Gurgaon & Delhi-NCR**: Families from all over Gurgaon and Delhi-NCR book me for their big moments. - **Clean, Bright, Fine Art Style**: I love natural light, simple props, and capturing real smiles in a timeless way. - **Certified & Safe With Kids**: Trained for newborn safety photography, so your little ones are always comfy during shoots. ## More services from Kunal Alag - [Family Photography](https://mytribe.in/kunalalagphotography/family-photography) · ₹8-22K per session (estimate) - [Newborn & Baby Photography](https://mytribe.in/kunalalagphotography/newborn-baby-photography) · ₹6-25K per session (estimate) - [Maternity Photography](https://mytribe.in/kunalalagphotography/maternity-photography) · ₹7-20K per session (estimate) ## Experts similar to Kunal Alag on mytribe - [First Birthday & Cake Smash by Ritika Sawhney](https://mytribe.in/mommy_the_photographer/first-birthday-cake-smash) · ₹12-28K per session (estimate) · Mommy The Photographer - Ritika Sawhney - [First Birthday & Cake Smash by Bundle of Joy](https://mytribe.in/bundleofjoyphotography/first-birthday-cake-smash) · ₹8-18K per session (estimate) · National Capital Region - [First Birthday & Cake Smash by Maa and Me by Vaishali](https://mytribe.in/maaandme/first-birthday-cake-smash) · ₹10-16K per session (estimate) · Ashoka Enclave 1 - [Birthday & Baby Shower Photography by First Child Photography](https://mytribe.in/firstchildphotographyy/birthday-baby-shower-photography) · ₹6-33K per session (estimate) · First Child Photography - Maternity & Newborn Baby Photographer - [Baby & Child Photography by Priyansh Bhardwaj](https://mytribe.in/babyphotographybypriyansh/baby-child-photography) · ₹7-20K per session (estimate) · Baby photography by Priyansh - [Baby Milestone Photoshoot by Anushka Kumari](https://mytribe.in/momentscreator_by_anushka/baby-milestone-photoshoot) · ₹7-15K per session (estimate) · Moments Creator by Anushka - [Baby Milestone Photography by Shipra & Amit](https://mytribe.in/shipraamitphoto/baby-milestone-photography) · ₹8-20K per session (estimate) · National Capital Region - [Baby & Toddler Photography by Kanika Mishra](https://mytribe.in/maternitymomentsstudio/baby-toddler-photography) · ₹4-21K per session (estimate) · National Capital Region - [Baby Milestone Photography by Priya Chhabra](https://mytribe.in/priyachhabraphotography/baby-milestone-photography) · ₹12-35K per session (estimate) · Priya Chhabra Photography – Maternity & Baby Photographer Gurugram - [Baby & Child Photography by Frame It Out](https://mytribe.in/frameitout/baby-child-photography) · ₹9-26K per session (estimate) · Frame It Out Photography - [Kids' Birthday & Milestone Photography by Diwan Production](https://mytribe.in/kids_maternity.diwanproduction/kids-birthday-milestone-photography) · ₹5-25K per session (estimate) · Indirapuram - [Baby & Child Photography by Firstcryfotography](https://mytribe.in/firstcryfotography/baby-child-photography) · ₹8-18K per session (estimate) · firstcryfotography ## Book To book Kunal Alag, message mytribe on WhatsApp: [Chat on WhatsApp](https://wa.me/916360004054?text=Hi%2C%20I'm%20looking%20for%20Cake%20Smash%20%26%20First%20Birthday%20by%20Kunal%20Alag.)
