Whether it's the five hours I spent painting a live portrait or a quick watercolor sketch at the Gurudwara, I focus on capturing the feeling of the place rather than just the visual. I use professional-grade Gamblin oils and Daniel Smith pigments on archival cotton paper, so you receive a piece that is crafted to last. I believe art should be a direct reflection of life. When I paint, I’m not just making a picture; I’m trying to catch those tiny, happy moments that often pass us by. My process is tactile and honest. For my oil studies, I prefer the 'alla prima' technique, working wet-on-wet over a single sitting. It keeps the energy raw and the brushwork expressive. On the other hand, my watercolors—especially those from my travels through Italy or the ghats of Varanasi—require a different kind of patience. I rely on high-quality Baohong paper and professional pigments, allowing the water to do its magic and create those unpredictable, beautiful textures. Whether you are looking for a landscape to brighten your living space or a live-painted portrait, my work is about personal connection. Every original artwork listed is hand-signed and comes with clear information about the medium and materials used. I handle the shipping myself, packing every piece in hardboard to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition. If you see a scene that resonates or want to discuss a commission based on your own memories, let’s talk. ## About Juhi Kumar I’m Juhi, a Delhi-based artist who believes art is about the small, happy moments. I trade the routine for a sketchbook and paintbrushes, chasing light in ancient corners and capturing stories on canvas. I paint because it’s my way of making memories tangible.
