The painting you see is not a studio copy, but a real-time capture of the light and breeze at that exact moment. This is why the texture and colors have a raw, honest energy that photographs just cannot replicate. Art is my soul. Whether it is the quiet stretches near Nandi Hills or the rocky banks of local lakes, I pack my easel and paints to capture nature as it breathes. This is what I call plein air painting. It is not just about the view, but about the patience required to observe the light changing across a landscape. For custom commissions, you do not just get a painting of a place. You get the memory associated with it. Maybe it is the view from your ancestral home, a spot where you proposed, or just a place that brings you peace. I translate these into oil or acrylic on canvas to suit your preference. I use 18x24 inch gallery-wrapped canvas for these pieces, ensuring they are sturdy and finished with a protective varnish for longevity. We start by discussing the reference photos and the mood you want to evoke. I then spend between 25 to 40 hours layering textures to bring that scene to life. Kamar kasna padta hai (I have to brace myself) for the long hours, but the final result is a piece that holds a specific time and place. Every landscape is unique, just like the memory attached to it. Reach out if you have a special spot you want to see on your wall. ## About Kum Kum Art Hey, I am Kum Kum. I find my quiet in the chaos, and my art is how I share that with you. Whether I am painting a bustling street or a silent lake, I want to capture the feeling of actually being there.
