Here are a few professional insights I’ve picked up over my 14 years in the industry: **The Art of the Glow** We all love that dewy, radiant look, but there is a fine line between 'sultry' and looking like a car headlight. The secret is balance. If your jewelry is heavy or your outfit is sequined and flashy, dial back the highlighter. Let your skin texture be the focus. **Beat the Mumbai Humidity** Working in Mumbai means fighting the weather is half the battle. I rely heavily on gel-based moisturizers for prep—they create a smooth, 'second skin' base that holds up better than heavy creams in the heat. Waterproofing agents are also key if you are going to be under studio lights or out in the sun. **Hair Volume Hacks** If you struggle with hair that falls flat, stop relying on heavy sprays that weigh you down. I often use dusting powder directly on the roots and massage it in with my fingers. It provides instant lift and texture that actually lasts.
