## About Traditional & Ethnic Portraits

When we shoot traditional portraits, I pay close attention to the small things that define your look—the drape of the saree, the placement of the nath, or the sparkle of your jewellery. We use a standard 3-point lighting setup in my Ghansoli studio to make sure those details pop, keeping the skin tones natural without over-editing. You are not just wearing the outfit; you are living the tradition, and my job is to make sure that story comes through in every frame.

### Capturing Your Culture, Your Way

Every traditional portrait session at my studio in Ghansoli is a bit of a celebration. Whether you are draped in a classic Nauvari saree or wearing a bridal lehenga that took months to pick, the goal is the same: to document the heritage you are carrying.

### My Approach to Ethnic Portraits

I do not believe in making you look like someone else. We keep the lighting crisp using my professional Godox setup, ensuring that your makeup and jewellery details are captured with precision. If you are doing a bridal shoot, I coordinate with your makeup artist beforehand to ensure the lighting matches the mood of your look.

### Why Studio Shoots Work

- **Controlled Lighting:** We do not rely on the unpredictable sun. We create the perfect mood, whether it is soft and dreamy or sharp and dramatic.
- **Props and Backdrop:** I have macrame, wooden stools, and different seamless paper options that add texture without distracting from the outfit.
- **No-Rush Environment:** It is not a factory. We take the time to fix the pleats, adjust the jewellery, and get comfortable before I even start shooting.
