We carefully observe how children navigate these moments, using them to build social confidence, empathy, and fine motor skills before we ever introduce a formal lesson. At Kriya Global Montessori, we believe that education is not limited to books or structured worksheets. The "additional moments" captured here represent the invisible side of our curriculum: the social and emotional development that occurs during unstructured play. ### Why These Moments Matter * **Social Connection:** Friendship Day isn't just a celebration; it's a lesson in community. When children help a peer or collaborate on a project, they are developing emotional intelligence and learning how to respect others. * **Outdoor Exploration:** Our garden and sandpit in our Kalyan Nagar campus aren't just for recreation. They are "prepared environments" where children learn to manage their own risk, explore textures, and connect with nature, which we know builds resilience. * **Movement & Rhythm:** Through music and movement classes, children refine their gross motor skills and learn to synchronize with others—essential skills for the focus they will need later in life. By documenting these moments, we show parents that 'play' is the serious work of childhood. Whether they are building a sandcastle or singing a song, they are preparing for a lifetime of independent learning. We invite you to see how we foster these skills every single day. ## About Kriya Global Montessori We are a community of educators at Kriya Global Montessori who believe children are naturally curious and capable. In our Kalyan Nagar home, we step back to watch them thrive, ensuring every day includes space for deep work and spontaneous joy.
