Many of my pieces feature 3D floral textures or special touches like glow-in-the-dark elements that change the mood of a room when the lights go down. Whether you are looking for a statement Kerala mural or a gentle floral piece, I finish each work with a durable varnish, ensuring your art stays vibrant even in our humid climate. My journey as an artist in Bangalore is a constant conversation between my heritage and my surroundings. When I pick up a brush, I am thinking about how a painting will breathe in your living room or study. ### Art with a Personal Touch My work spans a few distinct styles, but they all share the same goal: bringing warmth into your space. * **Spiritual Art:** My Kerala murals and deity portraits like Lord Shiva or Ganesha are rooted in traditional techniques. I use high-contrast palettes that bring a sense of groundedness to your prayer room or foyer. * **Nature & Florals:** Inspired by walks in Cubbon Park or my own terrace, these pieces capture the fleeting beauty of lotuses and asters. They are my way of bringing the outdoors inside. * **Modern Figurative:** I love capturing the quiet moments of connection—friendship, rest, and simple joy—in clean, bold acrylic strokes. ### The Technical Details I paint primarily with professional-grade acrylics on stretched cotton canvas. For those looking for something unique, I often incorporate modeling paste to create raised, 3D textures. I also love playing with phosphorescent paint, which gives certain pieces a subtle, magical glow in the evening. Every piece I sell—from my 6x6 inch Tiny Art collection to large 2x3 feet statement murals—is sealed with a high-quality varnish. This protects your investment from dust and UV fading, keeping the colors sharp for years. I am based in Bangalore, but I pack and ship my artwork securely across India, ensuring it reaches your walls in perfect condition. Whether you have a specific vision in mind or want to pick a piece that speaks to you, I would love to help you find the right fit for your home. ## About Biji Nagesh I am Biji, and for me, painting is simply how I breathe.
