Whether it is a small strip of wall or a wide terrace, I mix pinewood slats, artificial green mats, and metal art to build a feature that stays low maintenance all year round. You do not need a large garden to bring nature home. I help clients across Bengaluru maximize their balcony walls, turning empty, grey surfaces into cozy corners that look lush throughout the year. ### Why focus on the walls? Most apartment balconies are narrow. If you put floor pots everywhere, you lose the space to sit and relax. By lifting the decor to the walls, we free up your floor for seating or walking, while still adding that refreshing green touch. ### How I build your wall feature I use a few key elements that we can mix and match based on your style: * **Pinewood Paneling:** Great for adding texture and warmth. I use planed pine slats that act as a base for shelves, lights, or hanging plants. It looks clean, modern, and holds up well against the weather. * **Artificial Green Mats:** If you want a zero-maintenance 'jungle' look, I use dense, high-quality artificial grass and foliage. It stays vibrant 365 days a year, unlike real plants that might struggle with Bangalore's varying balcony sunlight. * **Metal Art & Vertical Planters:** For a more artistic approach, I install custom metal tree structures or wall-mounted grids. These are perfect for displaying smaller pots without needing heavy shelving. ### Finishing Touches Lighting is what changes the mood after sunset. I often integrate fairy lights into the trellis or add focus spotlights to highlight the texture of the pine. If you want something more fun, we can add a neon sign or hanging decor like dreamcatchers. We usually start with a rough sketch of your wall, discuss what you want to grow or display, and then bring the design to life. ## About Koolkraft I am Nahid, the heart behind Koolkraft.
