Because I use sturdy 4-ply acrylic yarn, the peacock feather motifs hold their shape perfectly even after months of hanging, and you can easily hand wash them to keep the colours looking fresh for every festive season. My peacock feather or Mor Pankh torans are designed to bring a bit of royalty to your doorstep. I focus on using deep, rich shades of blue and green, paired with pearl beads and pom-poms, to mimic the natural beauty of a peacock feather. ### Design and Construction Each piece features a geometric patterned band at the top, which adds structure and ensures the toran hangs straight across your door. The individual feather motifs are attached with durable white faux pearl beads that catch the light beautifully. Because I use a graph-based counting method for my patterns, each feather is uniform, while the pom-pom accents at the base provide a soft, playful finish. ### Practical and Durable I want these pieces to last for years, not just one season. The 4-ply acrylic yarn I use is specifically chosen because it is colour-fast and long-lasting. Whether you live in a humid climate or a dry one, these materials will not fade or lose their fluff.
