Whether you need a 7-foot toran for your entrance or a petite Bappa Kanthi for your idol, I handcraft each piece using 4-ply acrylic yarn that stays vibrant year after year. These items are fully washable, so you can pack them away after Diwali or Ganpati and bring them out again next season, just as fresh as the day they arrived. For me, this work is about more than just craft. It is about the philosophy of 'jevhā kalelā milte bhaktichi jod' (when art gets a touch of devotion). Many of my creations, like the Ganpati Kanthi or the heavy-duty torans, were born from clients asking for decorations that do not wilt like fresh flowers. I treat every project as a special order. When I receive a request, I focus on the 'why' behind the item. If you need a 7-foot toran for a doorway, I ensure the structure is reinforced with strong yarn so it holds its shape perfectly without sagging. If you are ordering a Bappa Kanthi, I can customize the floral accents—be it hibiscus (jasvand), marigold (zendu), or roses—to match the specific theme of your idol. I have had the privilege of sending these pieces across the world, from local homes in Mumbai to families in the USA and Germany. This global reach has taught me how to pack my work carefully so it arrives in pristine condition. Because every piece is handmade, I can adjust dimensions and color palettes to suit your specific home layout. If you have an idea for a festive setup, tell me, and we will find a way to crochet it into reality. ## About Knits and Knots by Suchita Hi, I am Suchita.
