This collection of conversations pulls back the curtain on the real work behind the scenes. ## Photos and videos - [Video: A teaser for our unfiltered podcast conversation with Jemimah Rodrigues. We discuss everything from her debut and personality on the field to the role of a coach during crucial moments.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/f9965378-00ce-450b-b95f-f9f6312321a5) ## About In the Media: Podcasts & Conversations Cricket isn't just about the mechanics of a cover drive. Often, the most critical lessons I share in these conversations aren't about batting stances or bowling grips, but about the mental endurance required to reach the next level. When I talk with players like Jemimah Rodrigues, we don't just discuss match stats, we talk about handling pressure, the reality of the 10-year grind, and why your mindset off the field dictates your performance on it. ### Why I Talk About the Process Many parents and students come to me thinking cricket is about overnight success. If you watch my sessions or hear me speak, you will realise I focus on the '10-year journey'. My conversations are meant to demystify this. Whether we are discussing the life of a Mumbai maidan cricketer or the transition to the international stage, the themes remain the same: patience, discipline, and the role of the home environment. ### What You Will Learn - **The Mental Game:** Technique is only half the battle. I discuss why pressure drills and journaling are mandatory for my students. If you cannot handle the mental load in practice, you will struggle in the match. - **The Parents' Role:** I have seen many talented kids drop out because the parents lost patience. I share honest stories about how to support your child without adding pressure, even when they get a duck. - **Technical Realities:** I talk about why 'boring' practice is good. We break down why certain shots work against spin and why fixing your run-up is a marathon, not a sprint. ### Why Knowledge Matters I believe in transparency. By sharing these insights, I want you to know exactly what you are signing up for. Kkalpavriksha is not just a clinic to hit balls; it is a space where we build the character of a cricketer. If you are looking for shortcuts, I am not the right coach for you. If you are ready for the long haul, these conversations are a great place to start understanding my methodology. ## About Prashant Shetty I'm Prashant Shetty.
