In our classes, we don't just teach steps. Sai and I focus on how to actually signal your partner, so even complex turn patterns feel smooth and natural instead of robotic. You will learn to listen to the music and react to each other, not just count beats. ### Why Partnerwork Matters Salsa is a conversation, and partnerwork is how you speak it. If you have the basic step down, the next step is learning how to lead and follow intuitively. We break down the how and why behind every spin and cross-body lead. You aren't just learning choreography, you are learning to communicate on the social floor. ### Our Approach at LDI At Latin Dance India, we focus on Salsa On1. Whether you are working on Mambo shines or complicated partner sequences, our philosophy is simple: technique first, tricks later. We keep our batches manageable so you get feedback on your posture, frame, and timing. We also rotate partners constantly, which helps you learn to adapt to different styles and levels quickly—the best way to prepare for real-world social dancing. ### What You Will Master * **Connection:** Developing a solid frame that makes leading and following feel light, not forced. * **Musicality:** Learning to hear the instruments and timing your movements to the rhythm, not just the count. * **Flow:** Turning those tricky patterns into a fluid experience where you aren't thinking about the next step. Classes are held in Koramangala and Indiranagar. Bring your energy and be ready to sweat, laugh, and occasionally mess up—it is all part of the process. ## About Kirthi Kishore I'm Kirthi, and I've been living and breathing Salsa for over 15 years. Alongside my partner Sai, I’ve built the Latin Dance India community to be exactly what I wished for when I started: a space where you learn real social dancing without the stiff rules. It is all about the rhythm, the people, and finding your own sparkle on the floor.
