We use a mandatory rotation system, which means you’ll dance with everyone in the room. This takes the pressure off finding someone to sign up with and actually helps you learn to lead or follow with different people, which is the quickest way to get comfortable on a real social dance floor. I started these classes because I believe dance should be for everyone, not just those who already have a partner or years of experience. We focus on the basics of Bachata—footwork, body movement, and that specific connection that makes the music feel so good to move to. My team and I teach out of our studios in Koramangala and Indiranagar. You'll be dancing on professional sprung wooden flooring, which is much easier on your knees than standard tiles. We also keep things pretty relaxed—our studio is pet-friendly, so don't be surprised if you meet our furry friends while you're warming up. Here is how we break it down: * **Beginner Fundamentals:** We spend 4 weeks covering the basic step, turns, and simple partnerwork. It is low pressure and designed to get you confident enough to join our socials. * **Community Vibe:** You are not just coming for a lesson. You get access to our practice socials and studio parties, which is where the real learning happens. It is where you turn steps into a dance. * **No Stress:** If you think you have two left feet, you are actually my favorite kind of student. We have all been there. My partner Sai and I have been teaching for over 15 years, and we have seen everyone from absolute beginners to advanced dancers find their groove in this space. ## About Kirthi Kishore I'm Kirthi, and for me, dance has been everything for over 15 years.
