My students follow a rigorous competitive schedule—incorporating sparring, agility drills, and specific Poomsae technique corrections—that prepares them for the high-pressure environment of DSO, CISCE, and state-level tournaments. If you are looking for more than just a hobby class and want to compete, this is where that journey starts. Champions are not born, they are trained. At Kiran Taekwondo Art, we believe that medals are the natural result of disciplined, consistent training. When you walk into our sessions, you are not just learning kicks; you are training your mind for the intensity of competitive Taekwondo. ### Our Competition Philosophy We focus heavily on the Kukkiwon standard, but we tailor our approach for the tournament circuit. Whether it is Kyurogi (sparring) where timing and strategy determine the winner, or Poomsae (forms) where precision and stance carry the day, we break down every movement. ### Why Students Choose Us - **DSO & School Games Prep:** We provide administrative and technical guidance specifically for students aiming to secure sports marks for their Board exams. - **Tournament Exposure:** From district-level DSO games to state championships and CISCE nationals, we actively prepare our students to compete with confidence. - **Real-World Experience:** My students learn to handle the nerves of the ring because they train in that environment daily. We focus on speed, tactical sparring, and physical conditioning, ensuring you are ready for whatever the judges throw at you. ### The Path to Gold Training at our academy is demanding. You will sweat, you will drill, and you will learn to lose so that you can learn to win. We accept students from age 6 upwards who are ready to commit to this process. If you have the hunger to stand on the podium and represent your school or the state, we have the coaching roadmap to get you there. ## About Kiran Taekwondo Art I am Kiran Gawande, a 4th Dan Black Belt. My pride isn't just the belt I wear, but the gold medals hanging around my students' necks. When you join my academy, you are not just learning a sport, you are joining a family that pushes you to become a champion.
