When you book a performance for your event, you are not just getting a dancer; you are securing an immersive, live auditory and visual experience that stays true to the tradition of my Mastergaru. These posters represent a decade of dedication to Kuchipudi, ranging from intimate temple settings to the global stage. Each visual marks a different facet of my practice. You will see announcements for my solo recitals, where I focus on the traditional repertoire including the Tarangam (dancing on a brass plate), as well as large-scale ensemble works performed with my students from the Kimaham School. My performances vary significantly based on the venue and the audience. For festivals like the Mūlam National Dance Festival or the Madras Music Academy, I lean into pure classical storytelling and the depth of the Guru-Shishya tradition. For contemporary venues like the NMACC in Mumbai or the Jagriti Theatre in Bengaluru, I often present my theatrical works like 'Raṅg - The Blue Color Lord'. I travel across India and internationally to perform. Whether it is a corporate cultural event, a private festival, or a temple celebration, I aim to bring the same level of discipline and energy to every space. If you are planning an event and looking for an authentic Kuchipudi performance, whether it is a single dancer or a full troupe, I can help you plan a program that fits your specific needs. ## About Avijit Das I’m Avijit Das, and I see every performance as a form of worship, whether it is for a small community gathering or a grand auditorium. My goal is simple: to share the raw, traditional energy of Kuchipudi in a way that feels honest and accessible to everyone.
