We intentionally mix age groups in our drills, which means you might see a 10-year-old teaching a senior citizen a drill, or parents training alongside their kids. It is designed to break down barriers and build real confidence, not just fitness. At Kikker Martial Arts, we have built something different. We are not just a gym; we are a squad. We believe that martial arts should be accessible, which is why we have stripped away the intimidation factor often found in fight gyms. ### Why We Train Together We pair kids with teens and adults with seniors. It sounds unconventional, but it works because it builds empathy and patience. A child learns focus by watching a senior member refine their stance, and an adult learns to find joy in movement by watching the kids. By shifting the focus from winning to growing together, we turn every session into a collaborative win. ### The Kikker Philosophy We keep things lighthearted. You will find balloon battles and tag-sparring mixed with serious WAKO-certified training. This is not fluff; it is a proven way to keep students engaged while they master complex techniques like kickboxing stance work, evading, and striking. ### Safe Progression If you are nervous about your first day, you are not alone. We emphasize controlled, safe sparring. Whether you are prepping for a belt grading exam or just looking for a way to de-stress after work, we provide the full protective kit—headguards, shin guards, and chest protectors—so you can push your limits without the fear of getting hurt.
