When a live Sufi band or a classical artist takes the stage, the entire room shifts. We dim the lights, light the candles, and let the live Qawwali take over, often punctuated by a literal shower of fresh rose petals from the ceiling. It is an intense, sensory experience that stays with you long after the baklava is cleared. ### Why Roohani Wednesdays? Most mid-week dinners are about checking a box. Here, it is about hitting pause. When you walk in on a Wednesday, the energy is distinct from our high-octane Bollywood Fridays or Saturday club nights. We curate an atmosphere centered on *Roohani*—the spiritual. ### The Experience The evening is built around the performance. We host live Sufi bands and Qawwali artists who understand the weight of the lyrics. You are not just watching a show; you are part of a shared, emotional rhythm. The room is scented with fresh blooms, and the lighting is kept strictly candlelit to ensure the focus remains on the music and your company. ### Dining & Drinks While the soul is in the music, the palate is taken care of by our fusion menu. Expect signature Turkish-inspired appetizers like our open baos or Edamame Truffle Dumplings, followed by heavy hitters like the 1.5-meter Adana Kebab or New Zealand Lamb Chops. Pair these with our theatrical cocktails—if you have not seen a drink served with smoke and fire presentations, this is the night to try it. ### Practical Tips * **Timing:** The vibe starts building around 8 PM. Plan to arrive a bit early to settle in before the main set begins. * **Seating:** It gets busy. If you want the best view of the stage, ask for a table near the center during booking. * **Dress Code:** Smart and elegant fits the mood of the evening best. * **Reservations:** This is one of our most popular nights; booking in advance is essential to avoid disappointment. ## About Khubani At Khubani, I believe a meal is only as good as the memory it creates. I design every Wednesday to be less like a reservation and more like an immersive event, where the acoustics, the flowers, and the fusion food align perfectly.
