I see so many people applying matte primers on dry skin or dragging brushes across the face instead of tapping. Real artistry isn't about using expensive, international brands; it is about understanding color theory, skin science, and knowing exactly when to fix a mistake before it ruins the final look. If your foundation is looking cakey or ashy, you are missing a step in the process, not a product. ### Fix Your Foundation Routine If your makeup looks patchy, you are likely skipping skin prep. For dry skin, ditch the matte products and switch to a hydrating primer or a primer oil like I use in my sessions. If you bought a foundation that is too dark, do not throw it away. You can use color theory to correct it with a lighter concealer and precise blending. Remember, the foundation should match your chest, not just your face, or you will end up with that dreaded 'white mask' effect. ### Master the Under-Eye Dark circles are the most common struggle, but the real mistake is using too much product. If your under-eyes look ashy, you are using the wrong concealer shade. I teach my students to use a darker concealer to suppress the darkness rather than piling on a light one which only highlights the problem. ### The 'Haath Pakad Ke' Approach I believe in teaching by holding your hand.
