## About Therapeutic Yoga

### What Therapeutic Yoga Means to Me

I see yoga as more than just a workout - it’s a way to heal. I use ancient yoga wisdom to help with specific health issues, whether your goal is to ease chronic pain, calm your mind, or support your body through tough times. It’s all about finding harmony, not chasing perfection.

### Who Can Benefit

- If you’re struggling with stress, anxiety, or low mood, this practice is for you.
- I work with folks dealing with neurological conditions, like Parkinson’s, focusing on the connection between mind and body.
- Chronic pain, especially backache or sciatica, responds well to yoga for chronic pain relief.
- Digestive issues, diabetes, high blood pressure, and immunity can all benefit from mindful yoga routines.
- Women’s health concerns - period pain, menopause, and infertility - get special attention here.

### How We Practice

Every session is one-on-one and custom. I use lots of props - blocks, belts, chairs - so even if you’re stiff or recovering, you’re not left out. Adaptive yoga for limited mobility is a big part of my approach. Online and in-person options available.

### What You’ll Experience

- Asanas to strengthen, balance, and rejuvenate
- Breathwork for anxiety (Pranayama) to boost energy and reduce discomfort
- Meditation and chanting to quiet mental noise and bring focus

Regular practice is key, and I’ll guide you, but ultimately, swaasthya aapki zimmedari hai (your health is your responsibility). I’m here to support your journey.

### My story

Namaste, I'm Sunil from Kaushalam Yoga. Yoga for me? Way more than stretching. It’s living, breathing, connecting - body, mind, soul, universe, sab kuch (everything). Gita and Bhagavatam guide my practice, and I love sharing asana stories - Simhasana, Trivikrama-asana, each has a myth behind it. I travel temples, ghats, always chasing that real connection. Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam - world is one family, so I teach to help folks find the joy inside. Simple, spiritual, honest.
