My recent ATU Poomsae certification means I’m bringing global competition standards and advanced technical knowledge straight to our mat in Bengaluru. ## Photos and videos - ![Receiving my certificate at the ATU Taekwondo Poomsae Education event in Pune. This was an important step in my own development, allowing me to bring world-class coaching techniques and a deeper understanding of Poomsae back to our academy and students.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/e082d2a3-9a6c-45ef-8c50-9a47f6831f89) ## About Expert Coaching & Continued Education Technique is everything in Poomsae. My certification from the Asian Taekwondo Union wasn't just about the piece of paper; it was about refining the exact movements—the low blocks, the fluid transitions, and the power delivery—that make the difference between a gold medal and a participation certificate. When you train with us, you aren't just learning standard kicks. You are learning the precise, tournament-ready forms that judges look for, taught with the discipline that comes from constant practice. ### Beyond the Basics: Precision Training In Taekwondo, your form (Poomsae) is your foundation. Whether you are a student looking to compete or just wanting to master your body control, understanding the mechanics of a stance is non-negotiable. During my time at the ATU Taekwondo Poomsae Education event in Pune, I focused on the granular details of movement that many academies overlook. It is these small adjustments in posture and timing that separate a hobbyist from a serious competitor. ### What This Means for You When we train at Kanteerava Indoor Stadium, we apply these international standards directly to our daily sessions. * **Advanced Technical Feedback:** You get corrections based on current Asian Taekwondo Union guidelines. * **Standardized Judging Criteria:** I break down exactly what judges look for in competition, helping you score higher. * **Methodical Progression:** We don't rush. We focus on the *why* behind every movement, from the chambering of a punch to the snap of a kick. ### Our Training Philosophy I believe that a coach who stops learning stops teaching. By keeping our training methods updated, we ensure that every member of Team KTA has a competitive edge. We mix this rigorous technical focus with our academy's 'no shortcut' mindset—you’ll sweat, you’ll work hard, and you’ll improve. If you have the drive to push yourself, we have the coaching to help you get there. ## About Karnataka Taekwondo Academy I’m the lead instructor here at KTA, and for me, Taekwondo is a lifelong journey. I don't just teach the classes; I’m constantly on the mat in Pune, Delhi, or wherever the best coaches are, refining my own skills to ensure you get the absolute best, most up-to-date guidance in Bengaluru.
