Before you sign up for competition training, remember that we enforce strict WKF rule sets, so your child needs to be ready for the discipline of actual Kumite sparring rather than just basic kata moves. We don’t just show up to tournaments; we show up to win. My academy focuses heavily on Kio state-level preparation because it changes how a student views their own capabilities. When a child learns to handle the pressure of a real fight under WKF rules—understanding the difference between a Yuko, Waza-ari, and Ippon—they gain confidence that stays with them far beyond the dojo walls. My role doesn't stop at teaching. I am there at the ringside for every match, guiding them through the rounds. We don't just spar. We use athlete-level conditioning with resistance bands and standing bags to make sure our fighters have the speed and power to execute their techniques when it counts. We treat our training like a serious sport, but we keep the environment supportive so that every loss is just a lesson and every win is a team victory. ## About Shito-ryu Karate Warriors Academy I am always at the ringside when my students compete because they need someone to trust during those high-pressure rounds. We work hard in the dojo so that when they step onto the mat for a tournament, they already know exactly what to do.
