For every balcony or terrace makeover, we analyze the sunlight, drainage, and layout constraints first. If your balcony gets harsh afternoon sun or has specific drainage needs, we select hardy, appropriate plants that will actually thrive instead of just looking good for a few days. ### Our Approach to Garden Makeovers Creating a garden in a city like Bangalore comes with unique challenges. We have spent the last 8 years learning what works in our local climate. Whether you have a compact apartment balcony or a sprawling rooftop terrace, we make sure the setup is practical. #### What we do for your space: * **Site Assessment:** We check sunlight exposure and wind patterns to decide which plants will survive where. This stops you from buying expensive plants that just wither away. * **Custom Design:** We mix aesthetic elements like flower beds and artificial vertical walls with functional parts like kitchen garden planters and lawn areas. * **Infrastructure:** We handle the messy work, including drainage solutions, soil aeration (Gudai), and setting up support structures for climbing vegetables. * **Longevity:** A garden is only as good as its maintenance. We offer monthly packages starting at Rs 2200 to handle pruning, pest control with organic neem oil, and general cleaning so you do not have to. ### Why focus on the setup? Many balconies look great on day one but fall apart within a month. Our setups focus on root health and proper soil mixes from the start. We prioritize native and hardy varieties that adapt to your specific micro-climate. If you want a green corner but worry about the upkeep, we provide a complete setup and maintenance roadmap, so you just enjoy the view. ## About Karat Farms Hi, we are Karat Farms.
