I use soft Malmal or cotton lining inside every kids' outfit so they can run around and play freely without any irritation from the embroidery. These pieces represent the heart of what I do at Kapoor & Daughters. Whether it is a vibrant pink lehenga set for a mother and daughter or a comfortable Angrakha for a toddler, my process is entirely collaborative. We start by discussing the occasion and your vision, then I select fabrics like Art Silk, Georgette, or Velvet that balance traditional elegance with practicality. Everything is custom-made in my HSR Layout studio, but I ship across India, so distance is never a barrier. For my younger clients, I pay extra attention to the finish, ensuring there are no rough seams or heavy embellishments that might cause discomfort. For mothers, I incorporate functional details like concealed zippers and adjustable margins so the outfit fits perfectly and lasts beyond a single event. If you have a specific color palette in mind or want to mix styles—like pairing a Mughal-inspired border with a modern gown cut—we will work together until the design feels just right.
