You will frequently find the artists themselves at these shows, happy to explain the 'how-to' or discuss the messy, non-linear journey of making work by hand. ### A Space for Connection At Kānike, we see an exhibition as a conversation, not a silent display. Whether it is showcasing the culmination of the OSCH (Our Shared Cultural Heritage) photography program or hosting an open house for local makers, we try to create an environment where the 'behind-the-scenes' is just as visible as the finished product. ### Why We Exhibit We exhibit to demystify the creative process. When you walk through our studio during an event, you are likely to see contact sheets, discarded test prints, and half-finished carvings alongside the final pieces. This approach allows us to share the story of the work—the trial, the error, and the unexpected joy of analog processes like cyanotype, woodcut, and film photography. ### Community-Led Art Our exhibitions often highlight the work of our community members, from young photographers finding their visual voice to international artists passing through Bengaluru.
