I focus on bringing back the life in those memories, using oil or acrylic to ensure the expressions look exactly like the person you know, rather than just a flat copy. Whether you choose oil or acrylic, my goal is the same: capturing the soul of the subject. **Oil vs. Acrylic** Oil painting typically takes 3 to 4 weeks because of the curing time, but it offers unmatched depth for realistic skin tones. If you want something that lasts for generations, this is the traditional route. Acrylic is faster, dries quickly, and gives a glossy, vibrant finish that looks great in modern homes. **Restoring Memories** I take special pride in working with old photos. If you have a damaged picture from years ago, I can reconstruct the features and give it a fresh life on canvas. This is often the most emotional work I do, and I treat every detail with care. **The Process** Every portrait is painted on gallery-wrapped canvas. I share pencil sketches with you for approval before I ever touch a brush to the canvas, so you know exactly what the composition will look like. Once we agree on the layout, I start the painting process using professional grade materials to ensure the colors stay sharp for years. ## About Kamils Art Art is my heartbeat.
