I love turning those inherited silks into modern Langa Dhavanis. Whether it’s for a puberty function or a pre-wedding event, we work together to keep the fabric's soul intact while giving it a fresh, playful silhouette that feels entirely yours. ### Giving Your Sarees New Life There is something incredibly special about wearing a garment that has history. Often, clients come to me with their mother's or grandmother's silk sarees, wondering if they can be repurposed. The answer is almost always yes. We carefully deconstruct the Kanjeevaram or silk saree, balancing the traditional weave with modern blouse designs to create a Langa Dhavani that feels timeless rather than dated. ### Designing for the Moment My approach is collaborative. If you are looking for something fresh, I can source premium raw silks, organza, or velvet to create a custom ensemble from scratch. * **Modern Twists:** We can play with color-blocking, unique necklines, or corset-style backs if that fits your personality. * **Traditional Roots:** For more conventional events, I focus on heavy embroidery, Zardosi work, and the classic Vaddanam (waist belt) aesthetic to anchor the look. ### How We Work Together Distance is never a barrier. If you are in Bengaluru, I would love for you to visit my studio in Padmanabhanagar so we can feel the fabrics and discuss your vision. If you are overseas or in another city, we rely on video consultations and swatches sent to your doorstep.
