Because I approach each session with a background in child psychology, we focus on right brain activation and self expression. This means your child is not just learning to color inside lines; they are building critical thinking, confidence, and emotional intelligence in a judgment free zone. ### Why Art Should Be More Than Just Schooling Hum bachho ko baar-baar 'pado, study karo' (We repeatedly tell kids 'study, study') bolte hain, which creates immense pressure. At Kalarang Club, I replace that pressure with play. My goal is to use art therapy and creative exploration to help children navigate their emotions, improve their focus, and build the confidence they need for school and beyond. ### Our Approach: The Kalarang Method Every activity you see in our gallery is designed to hit specific developmental milestones: * **Right-Brain Activation:** We use exercises like mirror drawing and upside-down sketching to engage the creative hemisphere, helping kids think out of the box. * **Multi-Sensory Learning:** From terracotta clay modelling to block printing on fabric, we get kids off screens and working with their hands, which improves fine motor skills and patience. * **Beyond Just Drawing:** We integrate storytelling with guest authors, science-art fusion experiments, and nature-inspired projects. This ensures that every child, whether they are naturally artistic or shy, finds an activity that sparks their interest. ### Join Us from Anywhere We keep our batch sizes small (6-10 students) to ensure I can give every child individual attention and support. Our programs are available: * **Offline:** In Noida (Sector 76) and Mumbai (Dombivli East), where we use community spaces to create a safe, collaborative environment. * **Online:** For families across India, the US, and Canada, we host live, interactive sessions via Zoom where kids collaborate with peers from different time zones. Whether it is a 10-day summer camp or a single-session workshop like our Eco-Ganesha making, the goal remains the same: a flourishing childhood where art is a source of joy, not a performance. ## About Kalarang Club Hi, I'm Sharvari. I wear two hats—I’m an artist and a child psychology counsellor.
