We teach you to first create a small layout for your still life. This simple step defines your proportions and perspective, giving you the confidence to attempt the final A2 sheet without hesitation. Securing a seat at institutions like the College of Art Delhi or JJ School of Arts requires mastery of specific skills. Our BFA entrance coaching at Kalabhumi is designed to bridge the gap between being a hobbyist and an exam-ready student. We break down the syllabus into manageable, high-impact modules that cover everything from basic sketching to complex memory drawing. ### What We Cover * **Still Life & Perspective:** We move beyond basic drawing, teaching you how to use your pencil to measure proportions accurately, ensuring your composition fits perfectly on the A2 sheet. * **Figure & Portrait Drawing:** Using structured techniques like the Loomis method, we guide you through face construction, capturing anatomy, and mastering tonal values to give your portraits depth. * **Theory & Portfolio Curation:** Our team assists with mounting and selecting your best work for interviews, along with providing condensed notes on art history and Western art basics for written papers. * **Live Sessions:** We provide live model study sessions, which are crucial for understanding human posture and anatomy—a key requirement in entrance tests. ### Why Practice Matters Many students fear the exam environment. By simulating actual test conditions, solving past 10-year question papers, and focusing on speed-based sketching, we strip away the exam anxiety. Whether you are aiming for Jamia Millia Islamia or other private universities, we help you align your style with what examiners are looking for. Our studio in Dwarka offers a space where you can practice until your lines are steady and your compositions are strong. ## About Kalabhumi Arts I am Asgar Ali, founder of Kalabhumi. My belief is simple: anyone can become an artist with the right guidance. At our Dwarka studio, we don't just teach techniques; we help you find your unique style while preparing you to clear the toughest BFA entrance exams.
