In our sessions, we don't just show you how to mix hues, we teach you how to treat your canvas like a storybook, balancing light and shadow so your BFA portfolio pieces grab the examiner's attention immediately. ### Building Your Portfolio Through Color Whether you are aiming for a government seat or exploring your creative potential, color application is a skill that separates hobbyists from professionals. At Kalabhumi, we break down complex mediums so you can handle them with confidence. **Oil & Acrylic Techniques** We move beyond basic painting. You will learn to use oils to create smooth transitions in skin tones and build hyper-realistic portraits. With acrylics, we focus on layering for depth, teaching you how to build luminosity and texture that stands out in exhibition settings. **Oil Pastels for Texture** Oil pastels are often misunderstood, but with the right blending tools and techniques, they offer a rich, painterly effect perfect for still life studies. We guide you through the process of blending and layering to achieve professional-grade results on A1 sheets. **Exam Readiness** For students preparing for BFA entrance exams at institutions like the College of Art, Delhi, or JJ School of Arts, we incorporate color theory directly into your exam strategy. We teach you how to use your chosen medium to execute visual storytelling, time management, and layout design effectively. Our studio in Dwarka provides a dedicated space where you can practice these mediums under direct supervision. If you are ever stuck on a composition, we work through it together to ensure your technique is solid before you face the exam board. ## About Kalabhumi Arts I am Asgar Ali, and at Kalabhumi, I don't just teach you to paint; I help you find the artist hidden inside.
